Our Gift To You
We would like to share with you some useful resources during this difficult time of the pandemic COVID-19. Our motto during this difficult time has been “The Importance of Solidarity” not only with the small business and non-profits organizations but also with your own community, friends, and family. The Importance of Solidarity is about caring and human connection, supporting each other. You may express your caring and connection from a safe distance or in a virtual way.
During our last 5 years, we have been connecting more than 700 people, empowering more than 100 volunteers and generous donors and celebrating the youth, children in our communities in Oregon, Venezuela as well promoting the Venezuelan culture.
We have been helping more than 45 beneficiaries in need in Venezuela and 2 in Oregon. We have been providing humanitarian aid to people in need mostly in Venezuela and in Oregon too. Your support has been wonderful even though we are a very small non-profit organization run all by volunteers. We are very happy to keep going forward because we believe in the Importance of Solidarity.
We have provided solidarity to students and families by giving more than $5,500 on educational scholarship toward students in college in Oregon and in Venezuela. We have raised these donations to support the youth to accomplish their dream of education at a college or university level.
During our many cultural events like piñatas, dances, festivals, and more we have created a community that not only Venezuelans feel attracted to but also many nationalities around the world want to learn more about our beautiful Venezuelan Culture. So far, all our events planned for 2020 are on hold.
In line with our belief in The Importance of Solidarity, we would like to extend to you a gift. During this pandemic, we want to tell you that we are with you, and by sharing resources we can help you in some way. We have compiled multiple COVID-19 related resources for the Spanish and English speaking community. Please share this Bilingual COVID-19 Resource Kit with your family and friends.
Please follow the CDC and OHA guidelines for up-to-date information about the COVID-19.
